Joao Linneu
"The workshop experience was unique. For the students for having such talents as Engström and Petersen teaching and for the teachers themselves as well, as it was the first time they managed a workshop together.
The insightproject call themselves "the insightfamily", and not without a reason. After my experience with them in Las Palmas, I felt like I became part of a lovely group of people, from all nations, with different backgrounds and all very talented. Just like a family, I met some people from the workshop afterwards, and miss not meeting many of them."
About Joao Linneu:
I'm full time art director and a spare time photographer from São Paulo, Brazil. Lucky enough to have met the right people in this 6 years dedicated to photography. It seems like my spare time is never sufficient to make as much photography as I would like, but it was good enough to make me able to meet great people around.

Edoardo Pasero
Edoardo was a participant in the 2011 workshop with Anders Petersen and JH Engström, Las Palmas.
Born in 1978 in Alessandria, I quickly moved to Milan to study Philosophy.
I grew up with photography but I started to work on it seriously just after the university; it was suddenly clear to me it was the best way to develop a ever growing humanistic interest.
I'm now mainly focused on themes such as body, sexual identity, gender and body modifications.
I live in Milan and work with Prospekt Photographers photo agency.
"Ary and Lorena are two of the best people you could ever meet. The workshop with the insights family was one of the best experience I had, it was so good for my photography and so good for making friends. Thanks guys, hope so much to see you again!!!"

Julia Vogelweith
Julia Vogelweith is born in 1978 in France. She studied law and finance in France and England.
She initiated to the art of photography by Antoine d'Agata, Anders Petersen and JH Engström through workshops in France and abroad. Julia builds her photographic work like an open book of her privacy, fears and anguish. Through her enigmatic characters, often imbued by a childish world, and its dream like landscape, she takes us to the intrinsic depths of the human being. Like Hamlet's Ophelia, one can find a fragile beauty, in search of an impossible love which will only find its freedom in silence or death. It is nevertheless her who is looking through the view of her characters, like an invitation to take part to her inner journey. Photographing the absence and the oblivion, away from time and the day to day unrest, she asserts her presence to the world.

Anouk Deville
Participant of the Anders Petersen and JH Engström workshop in Las Palmas
Born in 1988, Anouk Deville is a young french photographer.
She began shooting at 15, and never stopped since then.
"Being part of the Insightsproject is a life experience. I've met and bonded with beautiful persons, those few days were the fresh start I needed to carry on my work"
She soon met and became friends with Antoine d'Agata , JH Engström, and Nan Goldin, with whom she shares a tremendous love for human beings, their genuine beauty and their failures & flaws. Her work is a travel through her eyes, every picture a heartbeat, a peep into her intimacy. Her photographs draw lines between people, between love & fear, life & death.
Lorena @ Stimultania
From September till November 2011, Strasbourg's Stimultania Gallery showed Lorena Morin's SEEINGYOU proyect.
Over 100 images showing her passion for her family, sincere intimacy and nudes in and around her house...
BIOGRAPHY
Lorena Morin shares her most private moments through images that reflect the tumultuous harmony of her daily life. It is a universe of love and motherhood that she displays without filters, exposing very private corners, things that happen every day within the walls of her house – on the beds and the furniture, in the kitchen or in the bathtub – and that she grasps like mirages of her reality before they slip away. With a common aesthetic that weaves a tapestry from the different faces of her daily life, Lorena asks us to look inside her most private spaces and watch these intimate scenes, images that she fetishises one by one. She studies herself and makes us study her surroundings so that we can understand her passions, her family and the intense relationships she has built with every one of its members. She bares herself to the public without trepidation, exhibiting an unedited diary of images in which she documents the dreamlike nature of her routine and the burning heart of her happiness.
